Favorite Costco finds in May

It has been awhile since I did a little write-up of my favorite finds at Costco, and truthfully, I have been sticking to a lot of the old standbys lately. But this week’s trip to Costco brought with it the discovery of a couple of newer items that I couldn’t pass up.

We met up with my friend Tessa and her kids to do a big Costco sweep and sample parade. As you can see, it was a bit of a blur.

Four kids, two moms, and infinite samples. The world was our oyster.

One of the samples we tried was these Superfood Veggie Cakes by Garden Lites. These little muffin-like treats are delicious and include several different vegetables.

Margot ate the sample right up, so this seemed like a no-brainer.

I mean should she just be a spokesbaby for these or what?

Another item I spotted in the frozen section that struck my fancy was this box of Sukhi’s Chicken Tikka Masala Naanwich sandwiches.

I love chicken tikka masala, and these seemed like a quick and easy meal option to have on hand at home. I had one for dinner last night. I will say the naan wasn’t as delicious and flavorful as I had hoped, but the filling was very good. I usually stock up on the frozen Indian meals from Trader Joe’s (because they are the best, best, best), but it’s nice to have another option a bit closer to home.

Speaking of naan, I also stocked up one of our household standbys: Stonefire Naan.

Just like the music of Michael Bolton, I celebrate Stonefire’s entire catalog of naan breads. I love the original size to make personal naan pizzas, I love the dippers for the girls, and I love these mini originals for just about everything.

We never really buy loaves of bread anymore for the house. All of our sandwiches are made with this naan bread. I love getting this 18 pack from Costco so that we’re stocked up; you can also freeze Stonefire naan very easily, so we can always have some on hand.

All I can say is Costco always comes through.
